    Money may or may not be part of the "random map cycle" but it has no place in Darkest Dawn currently.

    A developer may choose to include Money in their custom/future boards, but the starting boards do not.

    You make BSID sound like a political affiliation... Replace "BSID" with "Democrat" and "Empires" with "USA" and you've got an even more controversial statement.

    It should "get somewhere" just fine. A standard game of Empires is like the battle, this is the war. You do want a war, right?

    If you BSID guys start something that becomes more popular than Empires, just make sure you can continue developing it...or whatever.

    I would expect it's themed with regards to...well everything. Maps, scripts, textures, objectives etc. I just meant if you find that becomes more popular due to our slow development releases, make sure it stays popular by keeping new content coming, until we get our devs the manpower they need. Anything to keep up the fanbase, really.

    Wow, this thread grew in such a short amount of time. Nice :D .

    @ Ikalx - we definitely intend to maintain it whether it becomes official, starts off more popular than normal empires, or neither. Initially it might not have that kind of fanbase, but we will continue development in pursuit of that goal and in the interest of keeping the community active :).

    Right now it would be more accurately described as being in the last stages of alpha release, and we aren't ready to describe the mod yet, so keep your pants on :rolleyes: . The progress on it's development is currently moving extremely fast, which is why a server is already setup and being actively configured to run the mod. So keep a little space open in your stockings ;)

    We will be sure to give you more information as soon as we are ready XD.
