    I saw a server today, 5 players, playing nf_escort, and the title said something about "Empires Darkest Dawn Open Beta" or something like that.

    What is it?:confused:

    by the looks of the replies, probably either a BSID server that thinks it can outdo g4tc, or BSID flavour scripts.

    BSID has signed up to integrate a server with Darkest Dawn, that's why they know more about it, and since they know what it is, they are excited.

    There may be "BSID flavor" scripts, but that is another topic.

    Is turbojeeps official? Darkest Dawn will not require a download, modification to client files, or any third party content.

    You can't "not get it" however you can choose not to go to a server running it.

    It's also nothing like turbojeeps, or as simple as plugins, don't read in to that at all.

    1. I didn't reference turbojeeps
    2. I didn't ask about downloads
    3. It requires specific maps, and won't let you download them.

    It does not require specific/custom maps. there may be an issue with the test servers fastdl or something, but available maps are the choice of the server owners/admins
