Anti tank rifle.

    Why not use this for Anti Tank duties?

    DonMegel: how would they move it? Wouldn't it need a rotating platform, since this is in the future anyway.

    I want it to be officially known, that _I_, the king of all things silicon and bagged, was the first to recommend feild guns to this mod, because, _I_, am a childish dick.

    NOOOOOOOOO. you're taking all the best bits out of the scout rifle (long range weaponary), and hyping up all the bits that everyone hates!

    The Scout Rifle's going anyway, as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong, developers). I heard they're replacing it with a non-scoped bolt-action rifle.

    How do you enter it? The classical HL2 "'E' and use"?

    I do. But I'm talking about the non-self propelling artilery. I don't see a seat so I assume you just stand behind it, and during the action the player model takes a position seen using the controls?

    Jeeps are good for pulling a ninja, but they seem to spin out too fast.

    To add an Anti tank rifle it needsto have great sacrifices or unique abilities. i would suggest it like adding a recoiless rifle, or a breach loaded single shot super high caliber rifle.

    a Single shot rifle with long reload time that shoots a solid slug round the round is compreable to a bazooka blast. however, being solid slug, it does not have splash. so make your shots count. Sure it could be used as an anti infintry weapon as well but you got one shot, and it Has to hit to be effective, there is no 'almost' with this gun.

    I agree with that. Altho if your going to use it as anti-infantry it should do a bit of splash when shot close to the targets feet. A High caliber weapon at such a high speed is going to cause a small explosion when it hits the ground. Your gana have rocks flying about wich is basicaly gana hurt when it hits ya. Not that its gana do masive damage. I think 10% health isn't too much to ask for if they get it close enough to you.
