What happened to the Black Hole?

Ok, I will make one post, and one post alone, stating my issue with Mr die. I had him on my friends list for what I think was around 9 months. To begin with, I thought he was pretty harmless, if a little eccentric. He seemed to think many people had an issue with him, which I was sure wasn't true. He also went on about many things that happened before my time.

Either way, he made a fairly compelling case. All he wanted was for a poll in the black hole, in which people could be nominated, and the winner would get moderator powers, and set the rules as they saw fit, within reason based on what was allowed (no warez, porn, etc). But after a while, I realised this wasn't true. He then said that because his off-forum elections which no-one had heard of made him win, he demanded he get said powers. So I disagreed there, but nonetheless, listened to his drivel for a bit longer.

After a while, he started trying to get me to do stuff for him. I politely refused for quite some time, and he got progressively more hostile with me. I then made a deal with him, that if I made a post for him, he would no longer contact Krenzo over modDB. Before I go any further, I just want to point out that nearly everyone who stays in long-term contact with him goes through the phases I have, some people are further along than others. Suffice to say, Krenzo and Brutos were at the stage then, that I am now. So anyway, I posted, and I received a ban. At the time I thought it was pretty unjustified, but looking back now, I would have done the same on the other side of the fence.

And Mr Die didn't keep his deal. At some point before this I think, we had the 2.25 release, which was pretty much ruined by constant DDoS attacks on every server. So anyway, at some point later on, Mr Die got in contact with pcwizdan and Sadistic slayer, the 2 people who did the attacks, and asked them to come back to Empires. Suffice to say that a repeat of the 2.25 release followed, and we lost even more players. Mr Die continued to state he was acting in the best interests of the mod, which, might I add, he has never played. I tried to get him to play it with another deal I made with him, which, yet again, he didn't keep.

At some point or another, someone I know was chatting to him. Mr Die came to me going on about how much they would support him, copy pasting my conversation logs. But the difference is, I was watching the conversation via remote access, and he was falsifying it. He was writing their responses himself.

In another instance, he also got in contact with a new modeller that reached the community, told him various false stories about how terrible the development team were, and this modeller subsequently left. He also kept adding his weird newsletter to the empiresmod page on wikipedia, and then tried to get us locked out of ever editing the page, so only he and other long-term registered wikipedia users could edit. As far as I know, we don't have any in the community, so it would have been his to do as he saw fit.

He has also made an effort to get in contact with Brutos repeatedly, after Brutos explained to him he didn't want contact, with Mr Die even going so far as to track down where Brutos's parents live, and contact details for them. Finally, at one stage, I spoke to him, quite civilly, and explained that I no longer wanted to be in contact with him, as I felt that I was enabling him by giving him someone to talk to about the stuff he did. Since then, he has tried to get in contact with me using in excess of 40 of my steam friends, including non-empires players, as well as my RL friends. When doing this, he has stated that he has a moderator and developer of Empires. Again, I'd like to remind you that he has never played.

At one point, Moojuice and either Empty or Zeke had a conversation with him, over microphone. This is floating around somewhere, and I can probably get a hold of it. I would honestly say that he is clinically insane. I've had days where he's been really nice, and other days where he's just spewed out homophobic, racist comments about certain members of the community, as well as just flaming me directly for no reason other than not following his orders. In this recording, he honestly sounds like a mental hospital patient, sat in a corner, talking to themselves. And feel free to listen to yourselves for confirmation. Don't even get me started on the weird-ass stories he comes out with. He goes on about how some old dev (Solokiller) took a long boat trip to meet other "Deeists" and plot the demise of the forum, and how PreDom visited Vulkanis in the US Virgin islands and had hours of homosex. Worrying part? He's serious. Oh, and there was that time he posted some giant "Grand Plan" EPIC had in the BSID forums. Suffice to say that he made this up too.

And in closing, I just want to explain one thing. He has always claimed to have support from various developers, moderators, prominent members of the community, but this is simply not true. Ask Krenzo yourself, Krenzo doesn't want any contact with Mr Die whatsoever, yet he gets spammed constantly, as well as Mr Die telling people he acts on behalf of Krenzo. He is not a civil, honest person. He is a lying, psychotic troll. He doesn't want moderator powers and other such stuff, he wants nothing more than to cause trouble. So by all means, waste your time with him, but don't for one second think he's nearly as peaceful as he seems.

Oh, and before I get the spam: No, Mr Die. I will not speak to you regarding this post, I will not debate it with you, and I'm certainly not going to unban you under the pretence of you defending yourself against it.
