use wage to buy body armor: bio resistant armor bullet resistant armor explosive resistant armor nuke resistant armor (reduce nuke damage marginally) etc etc etc structures: cameras radars etc etc etc 1 time items: spam (heals 5hp) dehydrated icecream (heals 10hp) cigarettes (heals 25hp) stim pack (100% stamina) Bio Antitode (cures bio) breathing extender (extra 20seconds under water without damage) etc etc etc misc: snow boots (better traction on ice maps) shock absorbers (reduce fall damage) climbing boots (can walk up steeper hillsides) etc etc etc gives infantry a variety of gear and combinations of gear so everyone can be special. everyone can get 1-3 slots for gear. hell lets make it an RPG or something... no cons because everyone can get watever they want. also to make it more interesting.. the items can only be bought from an armory like building per life.. so like a canteen or commissaries. or even make it researched based before being available to be purchased (although this would slow down research by slowing the progression towards end game research) also when you die, you leave behind a pack where your enemies can pick them up and use (friendly cannot). this is purely for the purpose to deal with over powering. to maybe tweak it, maybe the pack gives personal wages to the enemy for scavenging it.
