Maybe if it's a static snapshot rather than maxi gif spam.

Then again, it's the distracto generation, so I guess more sparkles would work better.

I've definitely had to log in every time I changed in and out of the forums on my phone. Not to mention the shoutbox loading messages all the way from SUNDAY, which is freezing the browser both on my laptop and on the phone.

It's hard to fix, I'm still trying to make it work, it works sometimes on some browsers.. and others just shit themselves.

Just posted a thread, oh man making a poll was so easy. This is the best. You're the best.

Spartacus' poll guide is a tad outdated now, though. Still deserves that sticky imo - every thread should have a poll.

But the poll text color in the thread burns my eyes...and I dont say that often.

And I just tested the log out issue on my PC and it doesnt work.
Only works on android phone using Dolphin browser (I think thats based on safari)

    On my PC I use Firefox 42.0 (win 8.1 - 64-bit)

Can any of this help with the log out issue?

    https://xenforo.com/community/threads/keep-logging-out-of-xf-with-chrome.22968/

    https://theadminzone.com/threads/issue-with-users-being-logged-out-of-xenforo.135618/

    Or the search: https://www.google.com/search?q=xf_...uJ8HfO9num-gD#q=xenforo+logged+out+every+time

I only scratched the surface of searching.

But thats only if you didnt already do the search for the issue. xD

By the way, this is xenForo forums right?
It leaves a xf_user/xf_session cookie, so im guessing yes.

...now I wonder if you dont need to mention xenForo license on the bottom, or you have some special agreement xD

    EDIT: oh, i see..it costs 250$ :grinimp:

    On Firefox.
If I open a new tab and type "forums.empiresmod.com" it will open a new tab logging me out.
If I open a new tab and type "https://forums.empiresmod.com" it will open a new tab keeping me logged in.

    Can someone confirm?

Yeah same happens to me. I also noticed that not having https:// before everything doesn't act like a link, though that's probably something different.

    I think I got it.

    In your browser.
Type "forums.empiresmod.com" and in the drop down menu find anything empires forums related that has http:// without "s" or anything without any "http/s://" and delete it.
Then it will make new ones with "https://" and will not log you out.

(in firefox if you cant see "http/s://" in the drop down menu, disable in "config:about":
    browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled;false
    browser.urlbar.trimURLs;false)

I guess deleting history might work aswell.

I think when you just type url without "https://" the firefox will simply use the one url saved from history.

The issue is that if you go to the forums on "http://" it will log you out and probably switch you to "https://" immediately.

huh.. in my case it was the bookmark that uses http instead of https that caused my issue. Thanks for the fix neoony. I am guessing it would be the same issue for anyone else as well. All I had to do was edit the bookmark to https.

Yes, thats exactly what I meant. Delete http, keep https.
    Enjoy! :P

The link on empiresmod.com to the forums points to the one without https://

    Currently it is (http://forums.empiresmod.com/)

    This needs fixing.
And so does any other linkage anywhere else.

Is there any way to uncheck all the threads? Old forums had "mark forusm read option" that i cant seem to find here. Its somewhat annoying that every subforum reports NEW threads.
