Me, Kaz and Simon are friends we arent flaming each other its all in good fun... but if someone else starts the flame fest(cyber) then they should be shot down

lol i thought everyone agreed on not doing a league.. and what about the people who dont have enuff people to make a fair game If it were friendly scrims and lets say On|e or CW didnt have enough people we can share the left overs from the other clan to make it a fair game
Nope Dubee, not everyone agreed to stop thinking about a league :-) A few very vocal pessimists voiced their unconstructive opinions about not even thinking about it. Many others, who have not posted on this thread, are happy about the prospects of league. You are saying if there was one your clan wouldn't join?

realistically, if their clan wouldnt join (or any clan), there wouldnt be much of a league edit: zomg Kaz, that gif is hilarious
So, what do we need to get done to get this thing ready? We should make a list, talk about the value of different aspects, and try to merge it all together into a site. I was thinking along the lines of A main site, something like ONE's homepage, where it has all the link for easy navigation and news. Scores for each clan. A calender for match date reference. A time table showing when who faces who. Forums because it bridges the communication gap. an IRC perhaps for those issues that really need to be done NOW. Rules of course. Permissions system Insert your idea here.
I personally think the ONE site has way too many links on the left. Clutters it up IMO. I'd rather a site have like 5 links (maybe a row of links at the top): start page: has next matches outlined on it 5 links at top: -Information/Rules -Schedule -Clans (under which new clans could register) -Scores statistics -Forum Edit: I'm working on a layout. I'll upload it later today and post a link
Just an Idea, but what about a 'public' team, where players who don't want to be in a clan, but want to have a good game could be in.
We already have Empires forum. (some people were talking like we'd need another) Trident your idea is stupid (IMHO). You need people to make such "clan" and they need to play well with each other. Quite hard to make it happen without being in clan and playing together. (not just for 1 match)
not really mootant. Obviously a team of mercenaries wouldn't fight as well together, but it wouldn't be that much different from a pick up game. The main problem for me with trident's idea is that there aren't a lot of regulars on these forums who aren't in clans. That's just the way it is.
