Looks cool, but once you go 30", you never go back. 3840x2160 is pretty great, but I still want more, especially for a 30" monitor.
I have one of these as my main monitor. Dell monitors are pretty top notch usually. you're kinda cute :cute:
I always found that I kinda start feeling weird with massive monitors, like my eyes are going towards the sides of the screen. IMO 20-23'' is optimal, and at that point if you want more viewing space/pixels you just expand horizontally with extra monitors. I see I'm a hit withe the gaydies but not the ladies tfw
I never saw the point of getting extra monitors and then have them form a giant picture. You got the black lines going through them on the edges of the monitors. I can see why people would get another one or two because extra work space, they are really handy if your streaming.
Three shitty 1080p monitors can be had for less than $400. Most 27" monitors cost around $450 or more. In gaming, you get 3 times the FOV with the triple monitors and >50% more pixels for general purpose work. It's not a slam dunk for everyone, but some use cases could benefit from a triple monitor setup. I love skinny dark haired boys as much as the next guy, but why the fuck are you in a cabin?
Generally doing single application stuff on a multi-monitor display makes no sense cause it's ugly. It's definitely meant for doing things like producing music and/or multitasking (like niggas that have porn on one and empires on the other).
I want to get a second monitor but a small one, so I have an extra spot to put my music and multitask, and for when I livestream with my friend when we do our anime and movie nights. I have the video on one screen and I drag steam and shit and move it to the other monitor, and I can full screen my stuff instead of making a box.
I like those purple star lights and little tree. I keep wishing I had a second monitor so I could have guides open while I try to figure stuff out on the other or stream lets plays while I read something else. This 18 monitor is too small to multitask on.
Yes, this was #1 on my shopping list until now. But 27" is too big, too heavy and a PPI of 109 probably not good enough for text. I'm writing all my code on a 13.3" Full HD laptop because i'm such a sucker for higher PPI. The iPad spoiled me forever. How do you guys stay focused with a multi-monitor setup? I would go crazy if i constantly had something blinking or moving on extra monitors on the sides.
If I had something on my side like steam and my winamp I don't see it bothering me too much. Kinda like having a tv in your room while your on the computer. I might hook up my box to it if it has the right connectibles.
Oh geez hows running tablet OS for PC. ove: Because I'm from Canada. I don't see why this needs further explanation.
