    because it makes it easier to model?
    this way he can churn out models/ideas faster then go back and make them look better if it was liked.

    is it possible to output a vegetation layer in a terrain generator and afterwards use that in unity-pires?

    So little faith. Of course I will add a bottom. But bottoms take time to look decent and I was trying to get the tops right. Jeesh.

    About the carrier. Mine docent drop landing craft, it just launches aircraft. I can't make it as big as a Nimitz, those things have 5000 crew. That's a bit much.

    I didn't mean to get up on you about that, I was just making sure. Also you COULD just call it an escort carrier? (Light carrier)

    so? tanks have 3-4 crewmembers too. i doubt its relevant to have someone play the cook of the carrier ...

    also could someone please answer my question about a vegetation layer? is it possible to use such thing in unity?
    handpainting grass, foliage and trees for a 10kmĀ² terrain would be a PITA that is absolutely not necessary ...

    aircraft carriers huh? itll be awesome to have aircraft carriers lol. itll be of epic proportions.

    you can ignore the anime decals on the picture. its just in the way. it should be a small class of aircraft carriers.. i mean if its too big, the map will have to be humongous as well.

    Yea I am designing the BE carrier to look similar to that, two issues I am having with boats, and players in the water, is if I try to make the player, and the boat script similar it won't work, so players will be able to dive for about 15 seconds before having to come up for air, also fatigue sets in where they die if in the water for more than 30 seconds :)

    Ships will skim the surface of the water, in the future I will give boats more realistic seafaring characteristics, but if it works, don't break it I say

    If anyone is interested I could use another coder, switching back to C# since unityscript(javascript) seems to have difficulty creating classes (I have found anyways). Just need elp finishing the RTS portion. Camera moves with WASD keys in the respective directions, and E and Q rotate the camera horizontally on the Y axis. The UI needs to be finished up, and the codes are a mess so I am organizing them to be easier to understand.

    All you need to do is write the building placement portion, and finish the vehicle restriction portion, which has already been setup with toggles for VF AF and shipyard.

    I am trying to focus on vehicles atm so any help would be appreciated, also if you only know javascript that is fine, I can always convert them to C#

    Make sure when you do the carrier it's very geometric, like the Zumwalt class I showed you. Also how serious are you about going through with this?

    i kinda like those carriers tbh, what kind of thing will they be in the game? a unit/vehicle? a static map entity?

    Well I mean, are you going to take this all the way from start to finish. If So I have a few things for you.

    @Don

    I was talking about the how the BE carrier should look visually not the NF carrier.

    seriously you should wrap that Avatar gif of yours... make it rewind from back to front to make it look like your raising and lowering your eyebrow. I think it would be more interesting that way.
