Now imagine if you saw twice or even three times those new players because people could find out about empires. Amazing huh? Funnily enough, if you search empires battlefield this mod shows up. Battlefield: empires edition might have worked but everyone would be confused now with empires looking the way it does, that and the more clever people might question why its on source and not frostbyte engine.

B4 name gets change some one should put Empires on kick starter. Raise some money then change the name. Could do this every year.To help cover the price of the servers.
Yea i can see the pledge goals already 100$ redesign a weapon 50$ change a core gameplay mechanic 30$ add some new and fresh arbitrary restriction 20$ receive an actual Nf Engineer model 10$ become a mod on the official forums --- Empires kickstarter wouldnt really work. Its an old game and it relies on non-professional, when-i-have-time development. Unless you want to outright lie to people, it would be pretty hard to find much of a selling point, and most of the kickstarts seem to all ride on the "hype pledge train" .
A empires kickstarter wont work because there would only be one person doing everything because everyone else is too busy.
Feels like there should be a the in there, it'd make a bit more grammatical sense. War of the Empires. Loses that nice acronym though. Though as far as I know only be is an actual empire, Brenodi Empire compared to Northern Faction. Unless it's suppose to be referred to as the Jekotian empire or something, but I can't remember that.
