If I look at video games titles, they are all pretty generic. Empires Total War isn't the climax of creativity either.
ElectroMagnetic Pulse In Radiation Effervescence Sector Edit: But really, that's stupid. A subtitle would, again, be, in my opinion, the very, or maybe close to very, best way to ungenericify the title.
yeah lets take a good name and add on something really tacky or stupid like... Empires: The Rebellion Empires: Fallen Rising Empir- oh, wait, teef already beat me to it in other words, lets make everyone think empires is shit before they actually play it no hate but like said, Empires is Empires
I find it funny that the creator agrees the name needs work, and sides with people giving it a subtitle. Where you got this guy who never plays the game and says its perfect
total call of empires war: battlefield 6 pro ex alpha plus - goty edition and think about the possibilities ... dont be so close minded theres options for a jeep DLC, mortar DLC, scunt DLC. ca-ching
My original idea was Build, Command, Conquer. Then I heard lawyers preemptively opening their emails and clicking new. The news from the lawsuit might draw more people to play the game, I vote for this one. I want to see EA try to figure out who to send papers too. I also want them to try to make sense of our copyright papers if there are any.
awesome, that opens the door for microtransactions aswell. scrap research, a few cents for a cannon isnt asked too much is it? valve and gg - ea might not get money, but the mod will be gone for good - im quite sure they own this shit. did you read the eula? i admit i didnt, but im rather sure that everything that is made with mod tools is property of valve.
To be honest, I like the default name. Sure it lost a lot of pizazz when they took out the exploding logo, but it's still not bad really. The whole sub-title idea is a bad one, I think. People have a tendency to clutter up everything with meaningless words, and some of the extended titles are just bullshit. If you want to change the name, why not think about that, rather than some extension crap. I can tell you that Cold Trap would probably have been the only listing on the database. It's still a far inferior name than Empires. Even if Empires is plain, simple and not easily distinguishable from the crowd, it still rather fits. If you were to rename the game, you'd probably have to think about the planet or civilisation it's built around in order to give it true flavour. Basing the name on one side isn't right, and not many people know anything of the background of the planet. I mean...that was never the point. The point is that it's a war, and that both sides can be identified with. You can throw yourself in as a soldier and when you have a really good game, it does feel like a struggle in a war. It does feel like an epic battlefield.
