Looks good, good concept, but until there are some changes to grenades, turrets, and the Brenodi AR, I won't be playing it.
if posible, give each team alot more tickets but have them loose 1 ticket/xseconds and 1 per spawn (do this for BE on escort as well ).

Hmm, I noticed there's still a problem with the spawns being blocked and people spawning into eachother and getting stuck. That needs to be fixed.
Soo true... last night we had a stack of 5 players... and there was nothing we could do because we had used up our last ticket and the eng's with rev where at the front lines. Had to wait 15 mins for one to com back so we could all die and get revived one at a time. :mad:
Maybe we could get a community mapper to adopt the map and optimize/fix it. At the moment, no one has the spare time to devote to fixing up District.

If they want "community mapper" to change it they probably will give him permission and source of the map.
It wouldn't be hard, i can disable the rope collision, move spawns around and change playerclips into clips to prevent exploiting, i would also add in clips to prevent people from going on the roofs, or add in the roofs as standard.
If you do add the roofs, it'll need a lot of work becasue you can see some unfinished parts of the map up there.
I've taken a look at a decompiled version of the map, this is HELL. Excessive amounts of detail, skybox around the map, open areas under the map, who created this thing? I already managed to do wonders in BE spawn in 20 minutes, deleteting the unneeded details, i closed the skybox at the back of the street, improving the performance a lot. If you're going to let me fix this map, better give me the map source.
THE DAMN THING IS BOXED IN!?! That's the biggest SIN anyone can do to a map... No wonder the performance sucks.
I've been working for nearly an hour and i'm still in the BE spawn getting rid of unneeded details. The reason there's so much lag in this map is because the visleafs were never cut up, all brushes are func_detail which don't cut up the leafs.This is also the problem in escort, but not as large, in district you can nearly see the entire map from any point in the map.(all visleafs see eachother)
