When you get a chance, add my latest beta to the OP. Emp_Homeland_B8 If you're like me, you've noticed that BE and NF always seem to be fighting for control of some empty desert or unpopulated forest. Not that it isn't fun, but I've always wanted to play a map that really pulled me into the setting. So the premise of this map is to fight for control of an important capital city, with BE spawning in the downtown area and NF in the frontier. It has a mix of urban and open areas, with some restrictions on movement using buildings and terrain, but much more fluid movement than the typical urban map. You can also, *gasp*, go inside some of the buildings. Forum Location Download Link: Emp_Homeland_B8
emp_break has a new and permanently final version, its floating around in a thread somewhere called emp_break_poc
Updated. I also made a new rule. I only want descriptions to be a max of two lines on my display. I know it is not that object of a way to rule size limit but it works.
I'm working on hazard_rc7 which stops infantry from climbing on the hills, it also has a buildable bridge which could turn a game around and ramps over radioactive waste.
Heres a new map, based off rainbowroad, but requiring a teeny bit more skill http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/121966 devhazard - Two teams, stuck in a devloping map world, have to duke it out over the center for quadruple resources. Involves careful driving, lots of edges, slippery blue surfaces, and two ways of winning the game.
Not to flame or anything, but you did remind me Cyberkun. How did you manage to change Smokies and Shadows (rc1 and rc9) from 2 of the best maps in empires to 2 of the worst maps (rc2 and rc10a). Change them back
I don't get why having an exploitable unbalanced map of Smokies_rc1 was epic. Well, maybe you can say if it was all that balanced, but it didn't seem to be balanced. Shadows, well I need to release a new version because your criticisms are valid. The problem is, well I only map for things I have GREAT PASSION for.
