This scale seems utterly wrong. Scotch bonnets are much hotter than habanero, cayenne is definitely hotter than birdseye and how the fuck is chipotle hotter than jalapeno? It's smoked jalapeno and ends up milder.
Just get these: Cook pasta, like 10 minutes, then drain, add this, return to heat and stir til hot. Bam, pasta in like 20 minutes. It's not microwave speed but microwaving frozen stuff usually takes like 15 minutes anyway.
Agreed, sounds like an ass and/or has never tried anything his mum didn't make him. Not sure why cooking is depressing - it's good to get away from things and into the kitchen for a few minutes a day. Not like cooking takes very long either, I generally cook things that take 20 mins tops.
