I got bored and made this small video , its about 22 seconds long LINK by disableing the recording of sound on it it gives better fps from recording , it was kinda dull without sound so i added music from another popular game , can you guess which ? Demo playback in Empires has been fixed by Valve. They said they'll upload the update of the engine next week with the fix. The problem was that Empires has to deal wtih more than twice the amount of network data than a regular HL2 mod, and the playback buffer wasn't big enough to handle it.
you dont have to sign up, just need to wait 30 seconds, but its not special or anything, just amybe some stuff that could be used.
Sorry, my english is bad,I am going to make in best I have already makes a movie promotion for another game (Neocron-MMORPG) as amateur and this project pleases me. I could not only begin to work above that before 1 month. To make a movie promotion, especially if its distribution(broadcasting) is wide it is necessary to pay attention in law concerning the music and its copyright. You cannot use a music with copyright except when to ask you for the permission thus far too heavy. You can however make your own music, or make an extract not overtaking 30 seconds. Concerning the programs to register a vid I would say that fraps is the simplest, but valve in its systeme which uses nobody ressources. For editer your vid, everything the good programs are paying. Windows movie maker is bad, but free, and those free do not make big thing(matter) furthermore. 2 better programs are Sony Vegas 6, and Adobe premiere. It is necessary to know that Adobe to a bigger community, but is not made for Windows, bug, and is load heavy resource. Sony vegas has the advantage to be light, powerful and simple while being as well powerful thanks to plugins as adobe. I only have vegas 4 Can you upgrade, or do you have to buy 6 brand new? I'm pretty much assuming you have to buy it. bummer.
There's no way my system can handle live recording. But if I can go back and replay a demo, I can crunch out a hundred frames for every second of gameplay. Plus I can kick up the quality settings, and dump screenshots frame-by-frame. Stitch those together in virtualdub, and you've got a perfect video with constant fps throughout.
Come on I wanna get to work here. Can someone PLEASE make some action recordings, doesnt matter if it has audio or not.
