He said people still buy stupid products because people are stupid and use trackpads even though its clumsy as fuck compared to a mouse but people are just retarded. You know damn well what he ment but you rather try to turn it into an arguement over how a trackpad should or should not be included in a laptop.

 

I mean they add a useless and expensive appendage to an already expensive format to they can create extra markup profit. A small mouse used on the front of the laptop is far more cost effective and accurate but they wouldn't make as much money.

Business sense is right, use of technology is wrong.

In fairness I may be jilted against touchpads. I can use a mouse perfectly ambidextrously but I can only really use touchpads with my left hand (or right thumb, cross dominance is weird.)

Yup, that's why they put touchpads on as well. I'd have thought a rollerball would be a better alternative for the nipple joystick thing but they're pretty difficult to get a hang of.
