Once I got a heavy tank smoking and red and flashing, then he went round a corner and repaired in 15 seconds. Maybe one day I'll kill a tank.
i killed some lights with it, the problem is unless you are swarming a tank, or lure it on a stack of mines and then finish it off the rpg is far too weak on anything but plain, and plain is like... still a bit hard for some tanks
You just invalidated your post by expressing that you know nothing about the weapons :p RPG does NOTHING to buildings.
Agreed about rifle. I don't know if this is how it works already, but Mortar doesn't need to kill anyone that has health upgrade in one hit (so it does 120dmg on a direct hit), and have armor and turrets have a negative resistance, so it can do more. To anyone who will complain about it being overpowered against plain armor, consider that the mortar is harder to use against moving vehicles. Also consider that plain is, of course, plain. It's the worst armor in the game, it should be viable to kill easily.
Every class should be able to fight off the other infantry classes, hartcounter RTS like balancing isnt realy entertaining if you are playing a FPS.
Tf2 doesn't have hard counters, only soft ones. Even spies can kill pyros at melee range on fire with skill, the revolver or a lucky knife.
I've meleed heavies to death as sniper, I've stabbed pyros to death, I've burned sentries to death, and I've scouted soldiers. Every counter gives an edge, but it's NOT a rock-paper-scissors. Also, Tf2 needs more PR.
infantry should never survive a direct arty hit. I mean wtf do riflemen have 40mm steel plates over their head ? maybe make em a tid bit more inaccurate?
oh yea, and then let the ragdolls dance when a barracks is being artied to kingdome come and 4 or 5 engineers are able to keep it up every time you get out you die, like if the floor is a killbrush you walk out you die
for the two days i played tf2 (the free weekend), I never noticed soldiers as particularly difficult to kill with the scout. In fact, I felt like I had a pretty good chance against everyone but a pyro. The pyro was pretty much a hard counter to the scout, at least on all the maps I was playing..
With the pistol scout will win on 1vs1 against a pyro. Heavy is the only class that is really hard to kill with a scout.
