If he was just some kid with too much time writing articles, I'd write him off as a lunatic. That he is spamming Krenzo with emails DAILY however and heckling other community members is why I want to see him expunged.

Late edit: Also, if you use the email form on this site, it likely either uses a PHP email API to new up an email, or uses an SMTP connection to do a proper email with legit headers. But it will always look like the same address no matter who sends - example@empiresmod.com or something.

This would probably lead to the opposite effect that you desire. If he is truly a troll (duh?), he would feed off the attention we give him. What better way of giving his epeen a truckload of cyberpussy than to have a word filter for *******, threats of bans and scripted responses for any mention of the guy, ultra-paranoia panic attacks from moderators when he convinces one of his buddies to make new threads for him, silly troll-rants written over the threads, and bans for any apparent supporters?

The correct answer to your question, hexi, is that he is a guy who enjoys getting a reaction from Empires community (especially from the devs) for anything he does. There's really nothing else to say.

 

He's not a normal troll, I'm fairly sure he has a mental condition of some form, he's not doing this because he gets a kick out of reactions, he's doing it because he thinks he's right.

 

But not caring is exactly what I'm professing here. You wipe him from existance. Anyone who posts for him is permabanned and the thread deleted. I guess I'm really lobbying for total supression.

 

To not care is to be carefree. To be carefree is to be indifferent. The policy and enforcement of permabanning and deleting threads involving him is not an indifferent stance. As a fellow troll, I would get a kick out of a community going to such lengths to personally deal with me.

To use an analogy (shit!), some people think that the best way to minimize racism is to ban and/or (over)react to any mention of the N-word. You just gave every racist/troll the ammunition he needs to spread his propagate and fuck with people that have developed an emotional reaction to such words. The best solution is not to give a fuck about a word. Another possible solution is to overuse and devalue the word to the point that it creates no reaction (e.g. fuck and gay); the only downside to this is that it is integrated as an unnecessary, routine part of life.

It won't matter in either case, though it is reasonable (and ideal) to assume that he is just a troll.

 

Isn't 'total suppression' ALREADY being done?? a few people have been banned for it for a while.

So like this is the second time some random person from the empires community has contacted me on steam completely out of the blue and asked me to back them in what I can only assume to be some retarded internet power struggle.
