No free will or freedom of choice, impossible in a deterministic universe. Everything that has happened was guaranteed to happen, everything that will happen is destined to happen regardless of anything you do because there's no other option. For there to be another option, then there would have to be branching in the universe, but that's impossible unless there's some sort of randomness in the universe, but there's no actual evidence of randomness. Problem with this is that philosophy breaks down when you try to apply it to reality. Because humans are stochastic. Actions and ideas arise from the complex interaction of fundamental processes, and seem to be their own process entirely. Which is why some are rational, some are irrational, and most fall somewhere in the middle. In fact, philosophy could be considered to be irrational, or better yet that rationalizing is irrational, being that what is rational varies from person to person. That first paragraph seems rational to me, but I know some people here will call it irrational and others will call it rational. The end result is the application of irrational ideas to irrational beings formed from stochastic processes. It becomes irrational to believe that anyone would actually do something like that and follow it in their daily lives, because it'd be irrational to actually do it. The end result? Fuck defeatism. And this argument, it's going to go nowhere. Again.
This depends on how you define "predetermination" (e.g. whether its that everything has been determined beforehand) and your philosophical view. They are the same in my book.
Let's assume a hypothetical third party would influence the human population arbitrary, that would change all the formed think patterns leading to new ones, ppl still have no free will but they don't do what they were predetermined to do, predetermination is a level above free will. Influencing factors can be any kind of random occurens, ofc you could argue that it was predetermined to happen, but IDK how a tornado is influenced by whether you have free will or not...
Then you are changing the argument to "can there still be free will if there is external influences". I'm not one bit interest in having such a silly discussion since these terms have arbitrary meaning themselves.
fits my perception of the average iphone user http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdIWKytq_q4 not saying its bad or smthg - if you have only apple stuff (for whatever reason, maybe you are a graphics designer) it totally makes sense.
So far we have purple cam flare issues, ugly chips, broken Wi-Fi, screen bleed and maps that could send you to the moon. Don't worry, though, a bigger screen will make up for that!
dunno im in a relation for about 2 years now and i dont run around and wave my penis phone in womans faces ... theres very little negative stuff i can say about it, basically only that this face recognition unlock thing is completely useless when you are stoned and svoice is dumb
So that's why you have a phone with a 3" display. :D It only counts as penis enlargement if you can fit it in your pocket.
