Its pure symbolism. It depicts our growing dependance and need of cell phones. I won't deny that at at first, I was against getting a cell phone but, once I got one... it was impossible to give up. Now... I am not an addict txting 50+ times a day... like some but, I do txt 2-3 times a day and play a game here and there for an half hour or two hours.
I didn't have a cell phone until about two years ago. All I use it for is as a phone and as a music player, because I'd die if I didn't have my 10-band equalizer and AAC support. I might look something up every now and then and there's a few things I'll use it for rarely (Steam app, calculator etc.) but active use of it is minimal for me. Just plug in my earbuds and use it as a music player for a few hours, let it charge when I get back to my room.
Been using my mum's Galaxy Note. I realise how little I'll probably use the Stylus, so I await the Lumia 920.
Oh boy, I really needed that. Now that I see that emotionally charged image, I think my rationally rooted argument is much stronger!
You finally realized that a Note won't get you laid. But will the Lumia 920? BTT: The iPhone 5 is out of stock everywhere in central europe and it was that way since release day. You would expect the workers at Foxconn to hurry up and make me my iPhone, but no, they just went on strike! Those lazy bastards in asia better get going, every day they are on strike is one more day without my pussy magnet!
Yup, the 4S is now my backup plan, but i'm concerned that it won't get iOS updates for long with it's only 512MB RAM.
I was actually joking. You should get the iPhone 5. If you're already set on an iOS device, go for their flagship. The iPhone 5 is a good device.
It's 240€ more expensive than the 4S, that's my biggest gripe. I just can't decide, there are just too many options, head is exploding. I'm even considering the S3 now, it's just so much more bang for the buck. Is it true that the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S3 cost the same in the US on contract? Then it would be a no-brainer to get the iphone 5, but here i would have to pay 679€ for the iPhone but only 450€ for the S3. Fucking capitalism, why can't i live in North Korea!
Because it's so much better to not have any rights or freedoms than decide which shitty smartphone to pick.
Yeah, the GS3 and i5 are both 200USD with a 2-year contract. The 4S is $100 and the 4 is free. I like the concept of a carrier subsidy, but I don't like the control that US carriers exert on their phones. I'm cool with a SIM lock during the life of the contract, but I'm not cool with carrier specific phones. They only bring carrier-mandated updates and limited community support.
