It is almost here to buy and i can't decide if i should get the iPhone 5 or the 4S! The main reason why i get an iPhone is, of course, to improve my chances of getting laid! Which one of these two will help me more with that? The 4S looks a little bit sexier IMO with the full glass back, but the 5 is newer, has a bigger screen and makes me look more wealthy (probably). Which one to get? (and no, Android is not an option)
If you really want to improve your chances of getting laid with memebers of camp gay, then 5 is the way to go.

It's thinner and lighter and has better battery life. That's my problem, it is better than the 4S, but not that much that it would scream, pay 150€ more for me.
Your phone shouldn't be for status. You buy a phone for your needs. You don't buy a Galaxy Note to listen to music and read news on it. That would narrow down the selection with at least 90%. You either get the simplest and cheapest or the best. (Galaxy S III.)
I've had my Nokia N95 8GB for like 5 years now, but I would like to replace it with a Galaxy Note II. But the camera is a bit weak, as is the resolution. HTC's possible competitor looks good, but I guess I'll have to wait for them to actually say it exists. LG's attempt is laughable. 4 on a phone. No thanks.
How is any variant of the Lumia in the same category as the Note? That's like saying, oh you want a big people carrier so you can fit your kids in? Buy a SMART car.
Trickster, why would you want a Note? It's so big you can hardly fit it in your pockets. Also, I think you are the classic Apple user and you should get an iPhone! You are ultra-conservative, rich and you approve of school uniforms, everything screams iPhone right here! Can nobody help me deciding between 4S and 5?
u too simon. Buy the 4S. Cheaper, which is a big deal. If you ever find a gen 1 or 2 iPod though, buy it immediately. The old colourless ones are really damn cool.

(also for people who don't know what a smartphone can do and think it's just a phone that can send mails and play Angry Birds, like 50+ businessmen) Also get a Nokia Lumia 920: - Higher-resolution screen than iPhone 5 - Higher DPI than iPhone 5 - Screen's even bigger by half an inch - Programming for it is at least just as horrible - Very nice Zeiss lens Or you could like wait for 6 months and probably get an even better phone for even less Or like wait for a year and you'll get a NEW IPHONE OH MY GOD Seriously though why do people want new phones all the time, my smartphone is like 3 years old now and it still works fine and dandy. The only reason I would think of getting a new one is larger screen size but I have a 7 inch tablet for that which has close to the DPI of the iPad 3 six months before the iPad 3 came out
LTE (i.e. 4G) is a huge bullet point if it's available and affordable in your area. And the SoC is rumored to utilize a custom Apple-designed ARMv7 CPU of unknown core count. The GPU might also be custom. The performance difference will be enormous, but only noticeable on a handful of use cases (gaming?). Oh and Anandtech has a table at the bottom of this page with a bunch of nerdy specs compared. I expect you could find less nerdy spec tables yourself without difficulty. I assume that you're talking about a 1280x720 7" tablet. What was on the market before the iPad 3?
