The General League Discussion Thread (NO GURLZ!!!!!)

But what do you expect people to do when they see the "whole story"? (which is misinterpretation btw)

About 3 months ago I asked opie to apply to be a league official and he turned it down saying "i dont have enough time"

 

Then those people need to step forward and say something. All the support in the world doesn't mean shit if they don't do anything.

 

And when clans join mid-season, it makes the scores unrelayable because others have higher scores than others and everyone doesn't start from the same line.

Also what comes to Evan, so far I have heard that Evan is the only one who made the league possible and also made pages for the league.

He's the only one who organized the league, again based on my personal knowledge which I have read and can remember, hence he is allowed to do whatever with the league what he wants to.

If you or Opie or someone else wants to organize the league in the future and make it work with the perfect system, go ahead and I think Evan will agree too.

He's doing this purely on his free time for fun. Playing is done on everyone's free time for entertaiment and fun, so is the league. If you want to have the power and the control over the league, run the season 3.

Naturally, talk about this with Evan but I think he would like to hand over the control of the league to someone else and not listen to all kinds of complains and other things from persons who haven't used any of their freetime to build the league system up.

Again, I can be wrong at any point but that is what I know and that is how I see the situation. Evan is the one who scheduled the league and hence is in charge of it.

 

Evan has already stated that even though a majority of the people are at ends with him being the commissioner, he isn't going to step down. It's being discussed and thrown around by a few people I've been in contact with between some clans that another league may be in the works. I can't say much more than that, though.

 

What would reliability translate to? Everyone does start from the same line, with the same points, some just join later on. The only reason why this might not work is because clans with more points would refuse to play newly created clans, but I had already suggested a rule for this. One more rule based on lowering the points for the first few matches a clan plays.(identical to non classic maps in season3, maybe just a different percentage) Ofcourse only if the higher scored player has a certain amount of points.

I'm not going to spend time on it as I already adressed all of it and suggested changes in the rules to go along with the prematch phase suggestions that were never added. Before you weedy bitched about me "hearing all your tactics" and before cpugeek said clans should be able to join mid-game. So you can say whatever you want, but these 2 arent the first 2 things I have claimed the league is currently doing wrong and could be fixed with ease (lol write words on a page and stuff yo) that was later on complained about by NON BSID MEMBERS. (capslock for emphasis because some people just can't seem to look through these 4 magical letters and somehow complaints by non bsid members count twice as much compared to suggestions by bsid members)

Also why I completely agree with what Opie is saying and anything he is going to say in reply to Evan.

Also it's great of Evan to create a league, sure. But I'm not sure how you would feel if you got invited to a birthday party, 50 kilometers from your home on your free day, just to arrive there and get raped by a giant clown.

EDIT: I wholeheartedly support BSID making a second league so I don't have to deal with you ever again.

 

Awww, they aren't happy so they're gonna cry and make their own league.

If you want a faster way to kill the whole league dealie, you've found it. Create two leagues to compete with a game that doesn't have a large number of players.

Would a thread that had the simple purpose of bashing BSID or JPL...or the game be allowed to continue like this? I doubt it. Hell, the C9 threads were locked almost instantly. Lock this already.

 

Well obviously the league needs changed, otherwise it wouldnt be open for discussion like this.

 

It is open for discussion because we live in a society where you can question things. However, that doesn't mean your side's argument is valid

If you dont want to play in league, DON'T. Stop bitching. Season 1 was the first run. BSID won and handed it to those other tards just to be tools. Then you're going to bitch about it?
Personally from what I see, it doesn't matter how the League it run. You're gonna find a way to bitch and attack whom ever is running it.

P.S. So no, Rampant, I didn't know it would turn out like this. Having this discussion in the League 2 Thread would have been:
1) Annoying for Evan
2) Confusing, as other topics would be discussed inbetween this one

And seeing as Evan kindly asked to move any League-related discussions to somewhere else, I made this thread. I was far too lazy to write a fancy introduction text, so I just put "So yeah." .

So yeah.
