so there is 11 hours difference detween me and them(and you). Do you have x-fire or msn, so we can play when it get released?
bugs: 1: There seems to be a problem where nobody can select a character to even begin playing 2: I get a big yellow trianlge in top left screen as commander 3: minimap as comm doesn't work for me 4: Escape key doesn't work in comm view and barely works in hero select menu (update: They actually disabled the escape key on purpose...) 5: Map only works with mousewheel. Using the numkeys will bring up a blank scroll. If the map is already up, you must use mousewheel to select weapon, otherwise the map stays on screen Gameplay: weapons: It seems the went for the cone of chance approach where it doesn't matter if you fire once, burst or full auto, the gun is still going to be as innacurate. Only 9 people can play on a server. 8 resistance members and one Rhamos commander Most of the time, action consists of spamming a line of enemy soldiers, dying, repeat. EDIT: Music plays constantly. Overall: Underwhelming =(
from what i saw in the trailer empires is way better in everyway,, why arnt you guys funded and reviewed by magazines?! this is like seeing a crappy band get famous before a good band
empires has been in a couple magazines already I believe. EDIT: On the plus side, it's made me appreciate all the work the empires team has put into their game, and the empires community for putting their hand in to help wherever they can. Actually makes me feel like fixing my install and playing again
70% as we speak. We got our share of flak after 1.0 and other mods aren't better off (even though, *ahem* they promise not to pull an Empires). I'm just afraid people are going to stop playing mods alltogether because the current ones are underwhelming.
Yeah, the last 2 mods were very underwhelming. Empires hands IG it's ass right now, just based on the lag alone. Hopefully they will fix that, and set a player limit on servers.
