I think it looks underwhelming considering that they said they were getting funded by someone.

 

Yes, the graphics seems to be very sub-par.

 

looks like fun but Im not a big fan of the 1 player + bots vs a team, co op is cool, but not in a tdm setting, but we'll see, also I really hate that fat porn guy whatever his name is, cant stand to look at his low poly face >=o

 

Heh. And that's after an overhaul that postponed this mod for a couple of months. I think I'll check it out, if not for anything else then for the intresting concept.

Unique? How is FPS/RTS combo unique when Empires has been out for over a year (yes, I'm counting the BF'42 releases)?

 

because its very different than the fps/rts hybrids currently release, afaik the only mods going for commander vs team, are Iron Grip and Zombie Master. From the top of my head I dont know any commercial games that are like this.

 

Well... Empires takes it on in a full multiplayer way, Oppressions takes another corner of it, so in a way it's unique.

I was interested in iron grip when I first saw what the really early screenshots and that first in game video.

I'm fairly disappointed they haven't really improved upon the visuals since then

lol, thats the second funniest thing I've seen all day (the first, being hit by a passing jet in mid air after I jumped out of a heli in BF2)

 

monday 25th of September, new releace date, that's today(here)

 

i looked at the trailer and while im not impressed by the graphics, i absolutly love the art. the 1st person shooter mode looks a bit generic and i dont see how it ties in with RTS mode, but we shall see, no?

 

Aww crap. Iron Grip: The Oppression gets released 2.00am on Tuesday morning local time(if I didn't manage to fuck up with the count, which is highly possible). So much for the monday release.
