Star Citizen: Organization!

Man, I wish I had the wireless receiver to use a 360 controller on a pc. As far as controllers go, that's the bee's knees and I occasionally wish that I had access to it.

 

Yeah I also play some games with a controller. I played the entirety of ACU with a controller.
But for precise and quick aiming: Nothing beats a mouse.

 

I already own two wireless 360 controllers, but no wireless rf receivers or wired controllers. So I'm kind of sol (i think). I've got a plug and play charger, but there's no data on it, just charging.

You're right man. People tend to get distracted too easily, and they look at a great idea and go "hell, that's awesome" and then when it comes down to implementation people lose their way. I actually think it's that way on purpose though, since like on these forums, someone comes up with the right answer eventually. In real life, some people are there just to screw over that last 5%, because someone's gettin' paid, and they know that's the hardest part.

That is awesome.

This is the decade, dude. It feels like everything is lining up with solutions, space, the oceans, energy, innovative new ideas are all getting more traction than ever before. We're going to get there, within this lifetime we're going to see that brand new future, for sure.

The first step, the very first step to making something real is to envision it, believe in it, have faith that you'll get there.

What makes Star Citizen so great as an idea is because people are hungry for it. It will remind and inspire people about that future so many of us have wanted all our lives, and is almost a tech demo for that future. Perhaps that's how it should be. Yesterday we had Star Trek, today that need is filled by Star Citizen. And tomorrow, well, we decide tomorrow...and if we believe in ourselves, we can make it.

 

So all this believing and watching the hours of panels they posted today describing the game and how exploration is going to work and everything, I decided to buy myself a Carrack.

Exciting!

 

The Carrick is kinda sexy.

I mean it looks alright, but I really can't wait to be in an exploration ship like that and be cruising around pretending to RP and shit.

 

It really is. And it's going to be probably the most important ship for us to be able to find and navigate jump points, especially new unknown ones.

Definitely going to be the bridge I'm on at Beta start

 

This statement utterly confuses me, and I have no idea what the right interpretation is.

-Best I can figure, you were having login issues (what were they?) and now you aren't.

-You will play the game when it comes out ("launched" = officially released?)

That comes with a beta pass? Now THAT isn't a bad deal. I'll have to seriously consider it.

 

I'm not sure if that even includes the full game though.
