    I like, it is winrar Empty. A lot of the vehicle weapons are now also amazing, my personal favourite (that I observed) was Bio ML (which coincidentally has it's DoT not working).

    The nuke is awesome. I don't like the seismic grenade explosion, it looks like a flashbang :|

    i dont mind the seismic nade simple because if it looks like a flash bang people wont think it does damage to them(cause it doesnt) and will make more sense at a glance what it is really doing.

    Which anythign to help noobs start this game more im all for it, if it saves 1/10 noobs from getting yelled at for engy nades not hurting players I say keep as is.

    How will We help noobs distinguish seismics from the "real" scout-like flashbangs? I think it may be confusing for some.

    But I get Your point.

    Empty: could You perhaps consider suggesting some other effect for seismic grenade?

    What we need is a real test, someone throw a seismic in my face and I'll pay close attention to the explosion.

    maybe we can get a new particle effect similar to the rail gun explosion, its distorting, not flash bang really but still not really an 'explosion'

    I didn't think the flash was intended for the seismic, that seemed more like the building placement effect bugging over.

    New effects are nice but could be improved.

    Seismic grenade (only very short to see but maybe too large):

    Why are there these lower build sparkles? And can't the upper sparkles be more round?

    Standard cannon and ML explosions while driving a tank and shooting on the ground. Explosion rises to far to the top.

    Yeh I don't intend to piss on the awesome particles parade, but most of them are overdone.

    First of all, the nuke is not a nuke, it's a HIT, don't troll empty, it's a HIT.
    It takes what, 5 HIT's to kill your average heavy tank.

    I know everyones first instinct will be to change the scripts, which is probably the silliest solution. No offense, it's an amazing particle that never gets old (as someone said) but the point is that it fits a nuke, not a HIT.

    Arty smoke is just trolling. Having a smoke arty shell is a good suggestion, but having every single arty shell be a smoke grenade is just trolling.

    It's like someone just decided to make serious kickass particles and put them in the game for no other reason than the particles being awesome.

    To be fair, that's what he kinda bills it as. Yeah a few are overdone, but they are great, I can't deny.

    I also like the new particles. They have just to be adjusted.

    Maybe the smoke should be much more transparent and appear faster.

    Looks great. But I would maybe replace the rays with the old nuke explosion (50% opaque)

    Arty smoke is perfect. If you're caught up in it (infantry or otherwise), it's great immersion. It also lets up pretty quickly, maybe too quickly if it was a realism based game, but about right for an arcade type thing.

    I agree the nuke may be a bit over the top (specifically the surplus of sparks) but I vote no on changing that arty effect.

    Bio is badass too.

    I agree the smoke of the arty is over rather quickly, nothing like scout smoke lasting like 30 seconds. I say leave epic as epic :)

    I say we just leave as is for now, we can always update easily with some other well done particles rather than trying to rush any out right now, I dont think we want anymore setbacks than nessessary.

    I spent a fair chunk of time making sure the splash radius for the nuke matches the effect itself.

    And it does.
    If you see flames somewhere, it took damage.
    It's not my fault the nukes splash is too large.

    And anyone who thinks the old nuke effect looks good should go eat some dog crap and tell me it tastes good.

    EDIT: And arty just seemd like fun.
    If interferes with gameplay too much I'll pull it.

    Seismics I was stumped on a design.
    I settled for a quick flash and some dust, because I couldn't think of a better effect tbh.

    What is with the engineer build effect? The current one looks like the sparkles comes out of the player. Also the upper effect is cropped when looking from the side. Can you maybe just use the lower effect as main effect and remove the upper one?
