Yes, you are right, this will increase the input lag, but I really don't care if that adds 5ms of lag. It certainly isn't a monitor targeted towards gamers primarily, but I'm sure it will be sufficient for my gaming needs. I'll definitely write a review once I get it.
ok... I have made a decision... Acer XB270HU bprz 27" w/G-Sync Problem is... its damn near impossible to get. Its always sold out. I don't want delivery since I seriously don't live in the best neighborhood. People get shot up around here all the damn time. Seriously low input lag, and GTG response. G-sync... like I read a bit about it and its getting good reviews on the tech. Practically no motion blur or overshoot. It doesn't have the full color above 1billion like I want however, I realized that its impossible to get those and have good gaming response speeds with them. No, far as i hear it, its the dice that falls out during production and because of 10k variants of them they make, they dont bother sorting them out and put them into packs instead.
Acer XB270HU bprz 27" w/G-Sync !!!!!!ITS FUCKING GLORIOUS!!!!!! So ya. I love it. Great color range. I see shit in colors I never saw before in games. I don't need to up the gama or contrast cuz THIS SHIT IS LIKE LOOKING INTO THE HEADLIGHTS OF A TRUCK! Seriously its massively bright had to tone it down a ton from factory defaults. Game play is wicked awesome now. now I need a better video card to play more games at higher settings which entails a need for a better CPU and better cooling. Good thing I got a new case so I can use 120mm fans instead of a dozen 80mm fans. Its quieter for sure, even when the dial is turned up to max.
