I know Krenzo really wants to make a comic about empires... so Im taking the initative to do so... So any suggestions for a story its mood be posted here, then after people can make Garry's mod screens :D Some Ideas: Will it be a serious story telling the struggly between NF and BE... Well, I can already see A LOT of potential in it being funny, with material like: -- Commander -- Lots of weopons -- Customizing vehicles -- Using APC to attack (I hate that :D ) -- General FPS/RTS noob stuff If it was serious, it would be a lot more difficult to make, what with writing, serious poses, and the like. Funnyness is always cool, and it would be easier for you and for the community to add to! I can give you some ideas from my book if you'd like
Thats what I was thinking... Maybe a totaly steriotypical game of empires... Complete with every player type: -The Noob Com -The Pro Com -The Idiot -The Morron Driver -The BOOM TANK Hijaker -Nub -More nubs -The useless scout -The "Need artilery support on theese coordinates" spammer scout -The arty whore -Idiot Machine gunner -Clanners (Also Range with anything stated above, but generaly have better communication between themselves and themselves only) Strangley enough there are NO mike spammers on Empires... Maybe this is due to the lack of 9 year olds playing on their daddys computer screaming into the new microphone that their 18 year old brother uses to record his guitar?
For a perfect example of implementation of the characters you listed, Shinzon, check this out: The Pwned Life It's a video spoof of Battlefield 2. I fucking love this vid, and so do all my friends. One guy did just about every single voice over too. the C4 guy (I'm always Spec-Ops, I Love the C4)
I saw that video in the black hole was it? It made me laugh for an hour straight... So something like that or something on a more serious note?

Do you mean the actual picture, or just the posing along with you in a server? I wouldn't mind helping you pose. As for the writing towards the sterotypical job, I can do the "Pro" comm, and maybe even the noob comm if no one else has called it :D

Well, if you wanted to do REAL empires footage, I could do the filming and editing. But usually with videos of in-game footage with acting, it's best if you have voice acting, and the only way I see that happening is over Ventrilio or something, and just recording what you guys say. Which very well could work. But it would be harder then just a comic. EDIT: Sheepe, you call ALL OF THOSE!? You're going to do posing, writing, and possibly the picture effects and the like for ALL of them?! Also, any time is ok with me, as long as I know in advance (if we could get the time schedule done tonight it would be great..)
Sounds like a good concept. Garry's mod seems to give you guys more freedom, but I haven't used it for so long time that I could be wrong...
It should be funny IF it is actually funny. No recycled, predictable crap. I'd like to see a semi/serious comic though.
