You could download them yourself, and if you get lots of other people to do it it's not cheating any more. Besides it doesn't help that much, I already know where most people are, it just looks nice.
I use this special script to use wallhacks, completely undetectable. I yell "COMM GIVE ME TARGETS YOU FUCKTARD" over voice chat.
Ugly but functional. I think the rollbars should just be thinned out a lot, but no removing. Maybe give it a roof?

Hendar, you're not the only one playing an unmodified version of the game - mine is totally bone stock too. Muzzle flashes sound like a good addition, but I'll wait for them to appear in an update.
Why? They won't be any better for it, I update my effects as new capabilites are added and I get better at the editor. Those are the best flashes you're going to get at the moment, the same goes for other custom content because nobody on the dev team has made anything better than it, or if they have they haven't bothered to release it.
I removed Chris's particles. Enemy infantry had their gunfire offset by a good dozen feet. The bright green vehicle muzzle flash also killed my framerate. Really should go back to getting a rollbar-less jeep, though. Even just removing the smokestack (that thing ain't a headlight) made driving more pleasant.
That's not his particles, it's always done that. We had it in testing but it was low priority at the time afaik. Not 100% sure. Either way, not his fault.
If you don't like the flash, use the set without the flash. That's why I bothered to include both. And yes, blame the devs, it's their fault.
