NF jeep with front rollbars removed

Isn't being able to see when driving the Jeep an advantage

 

I aint had any problems using it so far.

But then you barely notice it for all thejeeps you drive (well me anyway, leet jeep sklz may say otherwise...)

I was asked today to remove more of the roof bars to improve visibility any more, but I think it would look weird if the jeep was on its roof it would look like its hovering abovve the ground. Maybejsut take away the lamp things that are attached to the bars? they block your view quite a bit. Opinions/suggestions?

 

I dunno. Currently, you can plop down a turret just out of a jeeps vision and watch then blow up from impact (as comm.) This may fail without those roll bars.

 

The BE jeep doesn't have rollbars, so you're only evening out the advantages.

 

I tend to wall in everyone who makes jeeps, way more fun!

 

Move em back. now they look to much like cannons. You should kill the snorcol aswell.

But I cant move stuff -only remove it, as all I am doing is putting an alpha mask on the texture so the polys are still there, theyre just invisible. Moving stuff would require a remodel.

So should I remove the lamps, the top bars as well, or just remove all the bars and the lamps?

Oh also, can you remove the little thing on the front of the jeep, on the left, like a little cylinder coming off the bonet...that is just a pain...

NF jeeps DO have hitboxes on the rollbars.

I mortared myself to death on streets before while riding one of em.

 

afaik its the shell thats slower than the jeep so your head crashes in it

 

That has always been my interpretation too, if you shoot out the side you won't kill yourself.

 

I thought all the weapons kept track of how fast you are moving when you shoot them. Thats why you can launch gernades 2x as far if you sprint+jump just right.

 

Time to turn sv_pure on

 

I thought sv_pure only worked when the game data is stored in GCF files?
