Honestly I think if epic fought all the top vets not in their clan yet with 2 weeks of pubs where everyone is constant on so they can back to their top game and train some with each other it'd be a pretty fair fight. But that never happens, noone is ever going to make time for that. But in theory I think they might stand a chance under the right leadership circustances and with proper training.
How so. I mean, I assume you mean it as "epic is the greatest thing since sex" way, rather than just plainly stating what you think. If not, epic has always been a chewtoy. Before because noone took them seriously, now because some of them take themselves way too seriously.

That is a big maybe, I feel like if teams are bit skewed or there is certain people on the other side slaughtered ends up getting rather hectic. Though if teams are somewhat fair and these people aren't on/ don't care enough then yeah its a simple map. Personally think crossroads is best starting map, its so simple and not much of this killspawn business that most maps kinda require. Security is right though, it isn't too hard. You just really need to be willing to listen to vets telling you what you should be doing. I've pretty decent times with a new commander in the seat even though they only played like less than 2 hours, simply because they listened and got the basic controls real fast. Also I am proud to be a non-clanner. None of that super serious business for me.Though I wouldn't be totally opposed to particapting in a scrim.
Even if you were to say that BSID (and i mean the old one, not the cpatton x FN shitfest) were a bunch of pricks and CW was a glorified hangout place, you can't seriously say old jpl was retarded in anyway. X roads is a mixed bag. Sure, its simple and all, but you cant just place shit without consideration. Slaugh gives you alot of time to warm up and alot of space for bases. If you dont place a rax on xroads, you are boned. If you place it so that vehicles cant pass, you're somewhat boned. On slaugh, you have *some* time to figure out that you need to place shit and where. Xroads is a rush map.
