Well, every mod deserves a film mention if they choose to supply one. We probably did something wrong or they're still busy with other things.
Well, the video has 184 downloads from moddb as of now, and the HQ version has a couple of mirrors. I'll be taking it down from my original links to preserve my bandwidth. And l3tuc3 is right, every mod deserves coverage. It seems as if they are re-compiling videos, adding thier own logo and title thingy to the beginning. If this is the case, it could take them quite a while if they are getting a lot of entries. I must say it shouldn't be taking this long, but there's not really much we can do about it.
I PM'ed the guy who covers the moty and he replied that he's seen the trailer and loved it. Only that the widescreen is a small problem. Here's the correspondence: So it's going to be up there soon enough.
The only problem with that is that our mod's picture is the only one with that massive Garry's Mod watermark at the top right corner... I blame Dee for not using dontbuffmypylon :p
why are they even using a garry's mod pic anyway? If it's something krenzo or whoever can control, I could just edit it out EDIT: Don't you also need a working version released for this contest? *stares at nuclear dawn* >.>
Nope, there is a category for unreleased mods. Although personally, I don't think there should be. If they're that good, then they should be able to compete in next year's awards once they're actually playable. 1: "This mod is the best!" 2: "But you've never actually played it, have you?" 1: *sheepish look*
Best potential, imo. look at Vietnam, glory obscured (generals mod). no public beta yet, but there is SOOOO much potential. and I'm a mapper for it?
ack, i went to vote but it turns out that when ever i go to mod database im alwase on as guest, so my vote doesnt count until i go back 10 more times
The compression absolutely kills it, particularly the audio. But hey, it's better than nothing! And people can always grab the HQ version from the profile page.
