I downloaded the parts twice and winrar said they were corrupt, but the low res works version works fine.
I just get sound but no video on both versions. It also plays the visualization like I was listening to music. I haven't been able to play about 50% of avi files since i got WMP11. :/ Stupid M$

Pretty nice. That would probably be the best one to send in and might attract some more players. We'll probably have a spike in emp_recruits around the time that goes public.
You will also need the XviD codec. Google it. I'll have a go at getting it onto google video, but I've never done it before so I don't know how it works. EDIT: Wow, that was easy. Here it is. Keep in mind that the quality here is even worse than the low-res one, and I really would recommend the full version. EDIT 2: Whoops, didn't realise there was another page. Oh well, it's on there twice now. EDIT 3: I deleted my copy. Use L3TUC3's link.
instead of getting xvid and every other codec seperatly, get K-lite codec pack. It has almost everything -> http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm (or google 'k-lite codec pack') great for making your own videos aswell

The google video one is way too small! make it the full size one of the Google video, or something. pleaaase? ps it rocks. empires too. you can just see how much it rocks here. :D
Google re-encodes all videos when it receives them, so quality is never going to get any better than that for streaming I'm afraid. The "Empires is freaking awesome" quote is packaged in the install file, but you never usually get to hear it.

just noticed something: look where the rocket comes out of the grenadier in the tank turret @ 1:57. it just caught my eye. same again at 2:05
VOTE VOTE VOTE!!! And yeah, the grenadier does launch rockets from his brain. Doesn't this happen in anyone else's games?
