At the moment we have no way to stop it, although it seems to me Napalm's funhouse and vipers are just fine,....

I was just on there and I heard you Asz and Killing machine requesting to get pplc's steam ID, though due to me being on the opposite team I have no clue what he may have said or done to make you ask it.

I heard him accused before and jumped to a conclusion, but yeah I was trying to get the steam ID. It might not be DDoS thought it feels like it.... It could be something that requires you to be in the server... Or a Ddos that is enchanced by or required by being in the server. But I now remember seeing PPLC around a while back I think...

 

He simply runs the pinger in the background while playing the game, there are many ways to download pre-made ddos programs and they all are quite easy to get your hands on, so basically he is a scriptkiddy in every sense of the word. Also on top of that in the desktop image of pcwizdan's desktop I also spotted a bot net application on there as well as a pinger so he quite obviously has some form of quasi-commercial
(as commercial as illegalitys can be) software to use for these tasks, so they are probably dated and we simply need to find out what exactly he is using.

 

Has any of the servers admins sent data to there provider to have those IP's blocked on the providers side so the spam will be lower?

 

PPLC Thats the guy thats probably crashing all our servers, thats the guy that i described whit a giant 600 ping... I checked out his account and i hit a big wall hes from Asia. But EVERY TIME I saw him in any server 5 to 10 mins later it crashed. Plus he never got one kill, so i bet u the first thing he did when he connected is he toggled his faggotry.

 

Also i forgot all about that Steam spoofer crap -_-

 

The first day of the attack the main server was at 64/63 players and I checked the player list JUST TO FIND OUT WHO IS TEH 64th PLAYER. and when i check he was that bottom, had a ? for a name, had a score of -5500000 and a time of -50000.

This contribute anything or is it just an emp bug? plus those ? names means he has one of those invisible names that you can't see unless you look at him in game.

 

I think its a glitch, I dont think its empires related though.

 

Doesn't it happen when the max player count goes above a certain number in source games?
