League Season 2

So how do we know when the leagues over? Sorry im too lazy to read hella shit to find out

 

The current season or future seasons?

The current season will be over when one clan takes control of the map

The options for when future seasons will be over are (1) when one clan reaches a certain ELO ranking score or (2) after a set time period

#2 (set time period) seems like the best to me. What do you think?

Oh I C.. I was just thinking it has been awhile since anyone has had a match.. but im guessing SEEU skipped a turn?

 

Season length should be based on time. 2-3 months probably. (you can make a vote)

you should lose a point for not competing in a month.

 

Something else to consider:

Since matches will be clan scheduled, they will likely not be played on the league match server in front of referees.

SO:
The league.cfg file will be made public for use on clan servers
Every player must take a screenshot and record a demo incase there is a dispute later on

For clans that don't run their own server and are fighting against another clan that doesn't run their own server, we can figure out a way to use the league match server.

 

Also I think it should be a fair-play rule that there are no spectators allowed whatsoever so there can't be any ghosting in any way.

Can I see the current formula you have for rankings?

 

afaik it's "e=mc²"

 

I'm working on making some equation graphics to show how it's calculated.

But basically, it calculate the probability of each clan winning and puts those up for grabs. A clan that has a high score has a high probability of winning and thus will not win as many points fighting a low score clan as they would fighting a higher score clan.
