League Season 2

The Empires League Season 2 software is almost complete. All that remains is an arrow system that will allow browsers to view clans' current streaks (e.g. 2 losses in a row).

Season 2 features:

• Ladder system
• Clan-scheduled matches
• Less referee interference
• Recorded clan stats on the league website
• Implementation of the ELO ranking system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system)
• Clans play as both NF and BE on each map played to ensure fairness

Clans will still need 10 players to participate. SO, if you are in a smaller clan, you should begin recruiting in earnest or talk to another small clan about combining into one clan. Season 1 has not finished yet, but begin to prepare for Season 2!

Small remark: since both clans play both sides, i think you should try to use clannames more often than BE or NF, since both played on both sides. Might get confusing sometimes. Like in ss2.jpg and for ss4.jpg where you add matches maybe call it "Attackers" and "Defenders" or something similar. You can always fight it out in the server who will start as what first or make a rule where Defenders get to choose their side.
And of course as attacker (or adding the match) your own clan should be filled in immediatly.

You should make the minimum more than 10 players, at least 12.

 

remember to advertise the PUG style aspect of the league specifically for smaller clans. it's the ONLY way we're gunna get smaller clans defecting to empires. the PUG should not be aimed at average players.

 

Whats a average player for you, i mean a clan member is not "better" than a public player in every way there are enough "casual players" out there that can beat the crap out of every clanner.

What are you talking about? The PUG is NOT the league season. Separate things. The league runs the PUG but it will not be for clans. The league season IS for clans.

Could we have some sort of lines there to separate each section? It would make it more clear.
