When docking happens, are the two objects that connect always aligned the same way, or can you move shit around while docking? I imagine a lot of fail, if the alignment is fixed and a well done docking manoeuvre ends in a fugly clusterfuck orbiting kerbal
I've been watching some youtubes where people have been sharing save files. Anyone want to collaborate? It is a time consuming process but I am currently undergoing getting a pretty decent space station in orbit around minmus (better than the moon for me because it is further from the earth's gravity well but doesn't take much more to launch there). I am working on getting a space station setup that should be able to launch to anything in the inner solar system. Currently I have 4 tugs & 9 guys in orbit. I'm sending up fuel and RCS right now.
I think we are probably the only 2 that play this, Id like to get some practice with docking first before I commit to anything (havnt got around to it yet )
I would very much appreciate a short story about a space shuttle that has to do some really risky actions to succesfully dock with an unknown platform, and in the end it turns out they had to dock the space shuttle into YOUR MOM
Ksp is serious business. Any game that requires a calculator... I'll be sure to rant more. Its a properly good game, I like it because I find it challenges me and forces me to do math and such.
It will be when it is finished. Its still only a beta & I would really say it is still more of a public alpha that you can buy into.
So apparently your game has a kraken. In space. A space kraken. I may be interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=6GV9Vv3W7fQ&NR=1&t=148m

KSP 0.20 was released earlier this week. Performance improvements, seats and flags (among other things) were added
flags are nice. i still really long for things like kethane & the home atmospheric stuff. A real reason to go places. Also something between mechjeb and the current maneuver planner, that needs to be researched somehow. but I still play and I think it is a game that has lots of longevity even in its current form. great game, I am interested in cosmology and its taught me alot of math too. Great mods but some are kind of OP. I can't imagine getting to the outer solar system without mechjeb. but I know it is possible
Very good game. Bought it. The price is worth the effort they had to put into this game. And they are making updates pretty often with pretty big new features. And there are active modders who make really interesting mods for it. If you like this game and wanna learn more, watch this guy for sure: http://www.youtube.com/user/szyzyg
