Anyone feel like sharing a save game? We could collaborate on something simple and get more advanced...
Iam pretty sure that there was a mod where every ship, every debris and all that was shared. Something like multiplayer, but not really realtime. More like a shared savegame. Youtube has some great tutorials - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYu7z3I8tdEm5nyZU3a-O2ak6mBYXWPAL Once you can do a fairly efficient launch, work out the manoeuvre nodes & how to fly with the nav ball you are pretty much set. One thing that I actually found really useful was getting MechJeb which can automate pretty much everything for you from launches, landing at precise spots, transferring to other planets, etc. It is basically cheating but it showed me how to accomplish anything I needed to do which I could then replicate. To keep myself honest I only used it on unmanned craft and never for docking. Lots of people say it ruins the game, but I enjoy creating the mission and building the craft and such as much as the flying. Plus some of the basic stuff is boring to do over and over again.
Now you know how every new Empires player feels. Except they don't have a sunk cost fallacy to encourage them to learn.
Watch one or two videos where people have no idea what to do and half a video with someone smart. Follow up on all the ideas you may have had, like going to the mun, landing on the mun, landing safely on the mun, etc.
hmm, no explosions? :mad: I already got used to that...now Iam dissapointed joking Thats a bit better landing :D And we seem to have enough materials to build a base
