*sigh* The best case scenario is if we went to a rubble site and found extra large water bottles. Unless at least half of the people have extra large water bottles, and share one unit with those with the small water bottles, we really can't move very far at all. And the plan I outlined would require everyone to cooperate, which probably won't happen as Blizzerd reveals more of our roles to us. And Bliz? Everyone is waiting for Empty to get the info from the Scout.
Aeon waited with many of the others for Empty's informant to return. Some were getting impatient and simply wanted to continue moving. He climbed a pine tree nearby the camp... both to see if he could spot the scout, and to retrieve some sap. Whilst it wouldn't ease his thirst completely, the sweet nectar would at least take his mind off of it for a bit. He didn't know why he knew this.... but it didn't truly matter, he was surviving. From his branch, Aeon could see the members of the camp. Some were getting nervous, others envied some of the materials that certain people had acquired. He didn't care... all he wanted was to survive, and he was sure that the water supply he carried would be enough to last them to some water. He ripped off a piece of bark and began to suck on the sap... it wasn't as sweet as he had thought... but at least he wasn't thinking about the encroaching thirst. He looked out into the valley into which they were descending. He could see various ruins nearby, he thought that if the scout couldn't find any water, then they should head to the biggest collection of ruins. larger waterbottles could probably be scavenged.
since when are there pine trees in a desert? also since when can you drink pine tree sap? gl having stones from in your belly as the sap hardens
its just troubling how you guys rely on scout intel rather than think by yourselves remember that scout can have objective thats not in groups best interest, and can mislead us to some jekotian ambush site
Why do we have to go to 29? You and the other miner 29'ers are probably an evil canabalistic faction that wants to eat all of us!
oh wow I didn't even realise it was a desert... i thought we were trapped in the woods. and sap was the wrong word but it continues to elude me so I used it
Still no intel from the scout. :/ I get the feeling there might be water behind 12, but I still have no idea. And the scout is giving me his image file to make discussing our course easy, so his agenda won't come into it, and if he does lie to me, well, I have a silenced pistol.
you all have still more then 12 hours though, when you talk about the scout, do you mean the guy owing a binoculars?
I think our main goal should be 28 or 32. They have more stops on average, but are probably less dangerous overall, with more chances for items and water. Reluctantly, Cross had hiked north with the other survivors. At the end of the day, one man had spoken to the group. Cross wasn't exactly sure what he'd been saying, but most of the survivors seemed to be rallying around this one man now. It had made him uneasy at first, but the more he considered it, the more he liked the thought of a leader, even if he couldn't understand him. As he glanced around the camp at the survivors, his eye caught Donovan, the self-appointed Man In Charge, and Cross's mind flashed on one thing and one thing only: The gun. Also, the scoot needs to tell Empty what's what. My vote is for EIGHT or NINE, or, more specifically, AGAINST TWELVE.
