I'll top that with $5. Really tho if you're going to start a clan chances are you don't need a server. One day you won't have that server and you'll wonder what happened to your clan. It is best you do some open recruiting now and work it out for a month gaining people you can trust.

I can help by getting you set-up but I can't really join since I'm already in a clan. 1. Make a clan thread. Use this guide to do so if you want a format. http://forums.empiresmod.com/showthread.php?t=13987 2. Get a microphone unless you already have one. Every clan leader needs one to be verbal with their members. Text doesn't mean anything to anyone. Also become recognized in the community as a "cool" person. 3. Make friends. Add people on steam and ask them if they would like to join your clan. 4. Make a forum board. It's a good way to get your clan organized. 5. Recruit/Elect a co-leader(one you trust). (Optional): Develop a ranking system. It's a good way to organize your clan and say who has experience and who doesn't. (Ranks aren't necessary) 6. Once you hit at least 5 members go on servers and join the same team. Work as a squad together and get used to each others play styles. 7. Evolve and recruit more and more people. Open-recruiting for the need of players. Then stick to applications that are filled out on your forum board once people actually want to join.
get cool with some clan leaders / officials from other clans, and try to get your clan basically friendly with other clans.

sebby. my advice to you is to STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW. learn how clans work first, but not from us directly. observe, do not ask. take, do not request.
