if you're of the mindset of doing, try to join an existing clan first. that way you can study firsthand what it takes. essentially: empires clans aren't just voip servers, steamgroups, forums and clan tags. it takes more than meets the eye
It's better to know about the enemy positions before attacking. First of all, don't post publicly about your clan, first you need some guys you know (which i guess you have kind of), maybe like 8 guys, then make your clan known when you grow to 15 or 16 that's when you publicly announce your clan, and soon clans will offer to scrim you and vice versa. Also to grow a clan, you got to get good at the game, so people recognize your skill, and clanless pubbers who are of equal skill might be interested in joining up. Also play with your clan mates on the same team every game whenever possible, it works for teambuilding and peeps will recognize you.

Cause making à clan being a below average player wont succeed, this isnt css where clans can be utmost shit and survive, clannies on empires are MOSTLY good or above average.

Glad you are enjoying the game so much. Focus on enjoying pub games first, I've been playing for years and only recently started getting more involved with reading the forums (which should be taken with large quantities of salt), trying out commanding and talking to people, etc. Also there is so much hidden knowledge and tricks to pickup, some of them are downright wierd, even verging on exploitive. I've not been in an Empires clan but from what I've witnessed they play the game differently, the mindset is different sometimes and people have even said elsewhere that clan games change your view of the game and how it should be played, I don't know but I see glimpses of it in pub games - people don't always look like they are enjoying it 100%. Like people raging because they aren't getting their squad heals or because you died trying to revive them. That said alot of the people in clans are really fun to play with even when the going does get tough. I think its better to go through that whole progression naturally and just enjoy the pub games until you get to a point where you want/need to play more competitively than just leapfrog the whole experience, and of course to play competitively you must first be competitive! There is lots to learn - enjoy the journey rather than rushing to the destination.
