reminds me of what trickster said about 2 years ago: You can calculate when its faster to use RPG or mortar against a wheeled/tracked/half tracked enemy, in your head. I can't and just subconsciously decide what to use.
Yeah, you pretty much need to calculate that at light speed, else the gain will be negated anyways. It all goes down to practice and thus instinct
I didn't mean travel time. RPG used to do 16% more damage to Meds/Arty and 33% more damage to Heavies. On the other hand, Mortar reloads 1 second faster than the RPG. It was just a case of deciding which to go with based on the vehicle you were fighting, and what state it was in.
K, then I got you completely wrong back then. This let's me feel a little less shitty at tedious maths. Would it be hard to tell us how damage and reload have changed? (well, who else should I ask if not you)
I don't miscalculate. It's one of my specialties trained by FPS games. instant reflex/calculation. Tactical movement for close range combat. Tracking moving targets. None of them function properly under ping, unfortunately. Tip: Don't expose your ass wildly when you are pressing V in VF, at least give it some cover.
It just got removed. RPG does 130 damage, Mortar does 130 damage. Mortar reloads a second faster. IIRC Mortar is 2 secs, RPG 3. So it's now just ammo conservation of mortar vs ease of use with the RPG. I might make the RPG reload as fast as the mortar though at some point. I'm sure there's an Asian maths joke in there somewhere.
