There have to be at least 2 maps made, since you can't see which team spawns at the base, and thus can't set the CV of the team. And if you were wondering why i didn't respond quickly, well,i didn't have much time to go on a computer, and yesterday i went to an amusement park.

So what you are suggesting is some sort of spatial troop number accountability? Like if you have a 20 member clan and 4 territories you can't possibly have 10 people in each territory? If that is what you are suggesting, I don't think we can include such an idea. We don't have the man power for it... If you really want this included, suggest some more ideas about garrisoning units. I can't wrap my head around how it work at the moment.
This is a rough design of the base of the defending team. The spawn area is fully protected, trigger_hurt brushes prevent people from climbing up the ladders on the side or up the elevators to the spawn.
looks good... but is there any other way of balancing things like that without just putting unexplainable trigger hurts around? personally, given the 2 second spawn protection, i wouldn't mind if the attackers could climb up there.
There are other ways, but that will make the building look much larger, IE the player would have to climb up a ladder and jump down to get on the roof, and you'd have to kill any enemies hitching a ride with the elevators. The elevators can only be controlled by the team that spawns there.
nah, leave it up to the clan, let them get creative. like a demon pit with a incinerating effect. not saying that would fit, but let the clans be creative with it visually.
How can the clans have creativity with the map? I don't get it Killx. I do agree with you that we shouldn't put brushes on things so only one clan can use them. In a real fort both teams can use it.

Nah we can't do that. Clans would enter secret tunnels or something into their map. Also, it would be a logistical nightmare to keep the league server updated with all the map versions. AND all clans would then need mappers. So we'll stick with a few pre-made maps that solokiller is working on.
They will still be what the map is made out of, shinzon. Every clan will get one "home base" they can place inside of another territory. For example, if I wanted to make Slaughtered the CW stronghold I would put my base there. Then, if CW loses on Slaughtered to JPL, JPL would have to destroy our "home base" map to take the territory. It is a sub-territory... a subdivision
New wall design, makes them look better and allows for weak/strong points to be made in the wall, possibly allowing people to climb over walls by using buildings/vehicles.
