Voice acting samples

My mic actually has decent quality(however It wasn't scripted so I might pause for something to say lol) \o/
the Commander.mp3 prolly has the best quality because I experimented with noise removal at different levels throughout all the clips.

BTW, I've also taken several classes at my uni that involve scriptwriting and I can help in that process as well.

 

IMPORTANT: To be included ingame, please make these tutorials as brief and easy to understand as possible, tops one minute and concerning a single subject (good subjects: one infantry class, especially the engineer will need at least a minute on his own, vehicle customization, selecting skills and loadouts, basic tactics)

See if you can get a condenser microphone (Very good USB ones are the Samson C01U and C03U, each around 60 to 150 bucks depending on the store) to get excellent recordings.

OK, guys, if you want to help, I need you to post "I want to help", otherwise I have no clue whether I should ask for you or not.

Anyway, this is how we're going to do it.

First, all the scripts need be written, we won't start any voices or videos until we finish them all.
After, we'll need people to record themselves reading the scripts. We will have to cut/edit text in order to make it more simple to read/sound better recorded.
Once we already have the voices and the scripts, we will then apply them to the recorded videos, which will be the simple part, as you can pause the motion while the voices are still playing.

Is that a yes or a no.

That might be a problem, we want the tutorials to sound appealing.
Hell, I have a little accent too, that's why I don't want to voice act.

 

why must one be utterly unaccented? I say give it to Marcin, make it all from the perspective of NF and make it a full on russian war flick! (jkz)

I want to help, however while i'd love to say i'm great, the sad truth is i'm kinda only semi-reliable. I can probably script, if you find yourself shorthanded.

Ideally, I'm looking for 4-6 script writers and 3-4 voice actors

For scripts, we won't necessarily all be doing the same amount of text, but revisions and reviews will have to be done, cutting/trimming modifying text to fit the purpose of the tutorial better.

EDIT: The reason why I'm hunting for good sounding voices without accents is because we want to present this professionally, not done in trickster's basement by some hobo.

What would be nice as a final video is just a demo of a real battle with comments on what is happening. A real time demo would probably help clarify everything that they have already seen, show a little bit of strategy/teamwork, show a real example of a game and could probably be used as a promotional tool for empires.
