The only problem is Cartman sang a chorus before the first verse... Tsk tsk. Heat of the moment is actually still quite current in it's content. It's about what happens to women who go clubbing and use their looks, and how they end up alone and ugly. But anyway, Asia didn't go far for a band with Carl Palmer on drums, John Wetton on bass and singing, Steve Howe on guitar, and Geoffe Downs on keyboards/piano. Only time will tell is probably their best song. Yes released 90125 the same year, and that probably was one of the reasons that it did so poorly in comparison. Tony Kaye, Alan White, Chris Squire, Jon Anderson, and Trevor Rabin (not to mention Trevor Horn producing) is a hard act to beat. Trevor Horn and Geoffe Downs had had a hit with "Video Killed the Radio Star" as The Buggles.
Hehe. !MY INTERNET PROVIDER BLOCKS THAT PAGE! Sorry, I can't view that page. Can you upload the track somewhere else?
Sorry but I don't see any use in making more Empires music tracks when I know it will probable not make it into Empires. I do have released my Red Heat track, but it is unfinished. http://buzzmusic.mccc.com.ua/download.php?id=9641 Sorry, - AniCator
wern't you warned that there would be lots of silence? Krenzo is a busy guy, don't take it personally that you haven't heard from people. Keep up the good work and you'll really improve the atmosphere of this game. I would use this music if I knew how to make it work.
It's not that hard, all you have to do is rename the file. For example the main menu theme in Empires is called "gamestartup01" (located in Empires\sound\ui), so you take any song you like with an .mp3 format rename it "gamestartup01" & overwrite it. It's that simple, just gotta remember it has to be the correct format (as in if the the current file is a .wav file, you need to replace with another .wav file. So if you try to replace .mp3 file with a .wav file it won't play & vice-versa). Mainly the music is in MP3 format, everything thing else like building sounds, voices, gun sounds, & ambiance sounds are .wav files.
bloody love it, thats the sort of thing id listen to out of game let alone it in game 10/10 captures the mood beautifully
Some news. Hello everyone, I now announce that I am resuming my work on the Empires tracks. - AniCator
Concept Track I have been working on a test track. It is actually an exercise. I'm finally getting a lot better at making more varied tracks. This one is mainly varied in the beginning since I lost energy while working on it because I couldn't get the instruments sound right. It wasn't frustrating and I'm happy about that. It doesn't take me long to work on the tracks. It takes me long to start working on them. So here is the track. I named it 'Empires Test' because it's simply a test track. If the players like it I'll probably continue working on a track that sounds like this one. Though 'Empires Test' should be the intro of a track. It would have to be shorter (about 30 seconds) and then more instruments should come in and help the horns out. Download/Listen - AniCator PS: I heard Krenzo left the team. The website really needs to be updated and I also think it needs a new look.
sounds good, i'd like to hear some ... bigger ... drums. you know, a more dramatic kind of feeling. maybe kettle drums?
you could make an engy building trigger the music for everyone who is also hearing the engy tool, unless guns have been fired within the last 60 seconds, then it just plays the combat song in stead
Hello everyone, Lately I've been having some problems with my sequencer (software). I haven't made any so called epic tracks yet. Trust me when I say I can make them. (I'm actually quite good at it , yes I'm serious) Here is a taste of the new sample library I bought. Drama will arrive soon. Please wait. Download empiresSilence.mp3 - AniCator
