The story actually places BE 50 years ahead of our modern days. Its the ingame models that dont make that clear. So its the other way around. I talked to don megel and has the same oppinion as we have that NF needs to be moved closer to BE tech. Megels aircrafts and the ultra heavy model show you which direction NF will take.
tbh not much has changed in 50 years and going by the backstory there isn't a huge differnce between BE (nanotech) and NF (Genetic enhancements), tech levels. Its just how they chose to implement that technology, yes NF looks crappier but they havn't had much chance to shine up the ageing tanks and aircraft that they have been refitting. I like Megels aircraft and "The Beast", they are great and really fit in and I love Blizzards flying NF apc (the thrusters are a bit too high tech for my tastes) but the old BE dropship or the old 'skyapc' that Mayama "made a week ago and never finished" would look really good for BE
Everything;s being revamped, the current style is going out the window. I'll miss it, but the new stuff is awesome too.
so yea... if megel is making new models for the aircraft ... is my model still possible to be used? i dont feel like putting all the work into it if it does not fit any use at all... and you guys are like pfff poor blizzerd we will not use his model anyway (does not have to get into the game but i do feel a bit sad if it has no use at all )
