Battlefield 3 Released - Post here if you bought it (for PC)

If you're having trouble with BF3, trying closing all non essential browsers and unplugging all non essential usb devices

 

I had a problem where it was heating up my gpu so much that it got to about 71 degrees (celsius) so I had to turn the overclock off. It could have taken 10 more degrees before being damaged but the room was getting all sweaty and it isn't that good.

 

Battlefield 2 deja vu, I have to buy a whole new system to play it

 

Tip: In case any of you play engineer like I have recently tanks take 3x more damage from the back and 1.5x from sides and take very little damage from the front.

Another cool thing about this game is the battlelog website where u can check every game u been in and the stats and awards and leave comments about the match with other ppl who played in it. Kinda useless but still cool idea for like clan matches or something.

I also go on there while I'm at work and see what unlocks I'm close to getting for the guns

 

Dubee why do some of your lines have capitalization and full stops, but you abbreviate you to u.

It's a confusing double standard.

 

English is my 2nd language, sorry for the mistakes. I sometimes go back and add things or move sentences around with out noticing what it messes up.

 

I don't care either way honestly, long as I understand.
It's just weird that you bother doing correct grammar and then abbreviate words.

 

if i remember correctly tanks should also take more damage from the top
read a hint lately stating that laser guided missiles get exactly that bonus since striking from the top

 

They fixed all the major bugs, so now it's possible to play longer than few rounds. I tried out the shotgun, got over a 100 kills. That thing is powerful man, slugs + laser sight + any scope is deadly.

This DLC is so different, I have bought map packs for COD and never even played them! this is something I am drooling over and will be free.

BF3 DLCs are worth it, I'm happy to pay extra for them to add more stuff. They don't take the piss like the CoD franchise.

Dawww.. sorry bout that, they are pretty cool tags though.. Maybe they have some exclusive offers for euros though. They have another one for Dr. Pepper soda's out here where each bottle has a code for a tag or skin or whatever so imma go look for one of those after work.
