Mootant claimed the aircraft were going to have chutes and stuff.
If the aircraft was to be used for vehicle delivery, are they going to use a tow cable type system (Think Battlefield Vietnam) where you could drop a cable above a vehicle and then the aircraft can pcik it up ,and release it with a button(P key perhaps?). Or are vehicles going to be able to be loaded into the back of the aircraft and then the cargo door closed to keep the vehicle in.
If a tow cable = Make the aircraft small but proportioned to the task it's meant for
If being carried inside aircraft = Blizzerd's design is perfect, because givne the fact that the NF com vehicle is huge the aircraft would need to accommodate the space. However if transport is people only, then proportions would matter to some extent.
If I remember correctly the tow cable was hardly ever used because it took a good pilot to use it in BF Vietnam.
When we blow up aircrafts... do we get to see dead bodies flying? Will they drop and then land on ceiling if they type kill?
Blizzerd's aircraft there should be able to carry a few jeeps, or an LT/Dizzyone's AFV. Although, we may well have aircraft carryable on the exterior (not via tow-line) of the aircraft.
I like the idea of carrying it on the exterior. If we carry them on the outside, they can use the objects as a sort of armor plus it gives people a way to lower the enemy's ability to attack before he even gets to the ground.
Will you be making new aircraft factory models... that beast would never fit on the existing BE one.
Im sure we can leave it as it is and just scale it up.
BE one gets scaled, NF one is being made. I think.
how about we have a template and anything goes within the size template ?
They'll be as big as they are. We have the models already, or at least some of them.
i checked up and in fact the sketches original dimensions did indeed fit on the be air pad... since it was 30 meters long and wide roughly, and the airpad was also 30 meters diagonal, using a players size as a person of 1 meter 70
il still scale it down though

anti-aircraft turrets? it be like current missile turrets with a different model, except it only targets aircraft?
it seems the only way to kill aircraft would be RPG and anti-aircraft turrets.. because of the elevation restriction on tank turrets.
essentially, tanks are totally defenseless against aircraft atm. i suppose its natural that aircraft = tank killers. only way i can see around this is to remove elevation restriction on tanks and/or having only certain weapons that can fire above the current elevation restriction.
but yeh.. should make models for stuff to kill aircraft. of course 1 thing at a time ^_^..
OR carry a grenadier with you?
