After a year in Empires, why keep playing?

No i shouldn't of, half the time im on empires im either exremely angry or im high. next time I do something like this tell me to gtfo, or threaten me.

anyways, I wasn't UNDER the map, nor did I 9 mine to get inside of a wall. the map was not escort, so that exploit is legal.

 

I wait for 2.2 but I seriously think that the community becomes worse every day.

The shitty thing is that it stopped at a cliffhanger.

Apparently I heard they might make a new one that takes off from where the old one left off, but I think they might use a different type of 3d-ness.

I see it, not 1/4 as much as these other people (mebbe because I play on napalms?), but I do see it. What I mostly see is admins griefing and mic spamming. Other people I can allow, because they should just get bant...but admins?

That's single-player isn't it? It doesn't really matter too much to me in-game, because most of the games I have are relatively acceptable...it just gets my goat that a lot of the people try to pretend they're whiter than white when really, they're blacker than sin.

 

JPL server is nice, but it lags far too much for the majority of the non North American community unfortunately...

... and the admin fuckery is fun, atleast when you do it.

 

I saw someone today bitch about team stacking as the teams were 19/21. Is that really stacking? 19/21? Sure one guy theoretically could make a difference on a 40 man server, but really...

 

Admittedly, often teams can shift from a difference of 3 to 1 member in the time it takes you to type "teams FFS". Not sure about this particular situation of course, but it happens all the time.

 

If there are only 6 people on a server then two more people on one team makes a big difference, but on a 40 man server, bitchin' about tiny team differences is just lame. Shut up and play :D

It's that veyr attitude you show here is why I am leaving the game.

I had played a game that I was on the loosing team..just before I quit, I look and it had a lot of people on the server, but it was stacked 2:1.

Yeah..I wonder why they would complain they were loosing.

Then you realize you are only helping the issue along seeing as how you seem to need to insult everything and cant give some damn feedback. Game ruining? hardly. Just because you lost a tank doesnt mean you team fails you lose the world hates you and that you should cut your wrists. The 2 biggest community problems are that A. people dislike anything that doesnt help them win and that they make mountains out of mole hills and B. the noobs that join the forums and say things that are blatantly stupid.

You do realise that a lot of people join spectator when they are near to being defeated, right? Most people join spectator when the last spawn is destroyed too and some will just give up and leave the server...like you may have done.

 

Admins are under even stricter guidelines than regular players.

Greifing by an admin is a exceptionally heinous offense.
