As I've gotten older I don't get as hyped up about new games as I used to despite having way more money to spend, so I almost never buy games when they're new any more. There are a few exceptions though, the last one being The Witcher 2, which was more of a case of me wanting to support the developers with full price purchase. One thing I will never do is pre-order a game (unless it's Fallout 4)
I hope it isn't clear sky, whatever you do don't start with that one. It will crush your soul and make you never want to try playing it again. Unless you're one of those terrible people that got quick save/load bound to your mouse buttons instead of shoot... I actually do buy a few games full price, but most of them were on the 3ds, so it was 40$ instead of 60$. Last game that was a full 60$ was smash for wiiu, don't regret it have like a third of my empires time on it already. Last game I preordered was xcom eu, I kinda regret it only cause I got side tracked by a bunch of other cool stuff coming out at the same time and when I did get around to playing it on sale for like half off. I do intend to get kf2, but I couldn't imagine it being more than 30$.
So enable the scripts that turned the vehicles into airplanes. Each team starts out with their CV and a VF With a spawn point. You fly the CV through rings for resources. The team can spawn themselves "planes" To go destroy enemy VF / cv. would be best map.
I'm waiting for a good deal on one of the key selling sites. Meanwhile, I'm playing GTA San Andreas in glorious 4K.
I just find it funny that people like to be fleeced for their escapism. And they generally put their life to one side in order to play a game - usually meaning it gets worse. Games teach you about 10% worth of a book, and about 25% or so compared to a tv show. Unless it's actually a great game it won't tell you much more than cliché human behaviour and the factual information is usually pretty low. Added to that the approximations of human facial expression, emotion and movement are usually misleading or just plain wrong. On the other hand they generally do teach you certain things that you don't get in other mediums, being the most interactive. And they're a pretty good social tool. Too bad they're quite addicting, since I'm pretty sure everyone who's gamed has lost some of their time that they can't get back.
Probably the dumbest thing I will read this year. Games are fun. I play them for fun. They make me happy. Games last longer than books and film and have replay value as you are doing more than just finding out what happens. To consider time spent having fun as time wasted is utterly retarded and you ought to rethink your whole life if this is your outlook. Source: I have a job, a life, a long term relationship despite playing a fucktonne of video games also go fuck yourself. Be happy.
I never said you can't rewatch a film or re-read a book but it's still the same book and the same film the second time.
